He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Olson (Havig); his daughter Cathy Rae Gehring; and his granddaughter Larisa Gehring. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Roe Hewes (Marty) and Ronald Alan Olson (Amy); his son-in-law Tom Gehring; his grandchildren, Sonja Broach (Chris), Steffen Smith, Shura Gehring, Damon Gehring, Anders Olson and Reece Olson; and his great grandchildren, Violet Broach, Fox Broach and Dahlia Broach.
