He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shingledecker and Jean Shingledecker; and his sister Judy Shingledecker. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Melissa Deck and Amanda Young (Kyle); his grandchildren, Shawn Deck, Amelia Young, Benjamin Young and Cole Young; and his siblings, Donna Boehm, Debbie Conner and Charles Shingledecker. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (6330 Center St, Mentor, OH 44060). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
