He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Mayhew and Eleanor Mayhew (Whitacre); and his sister Diane Logan. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Baku); his stepson Thomas Hoinski (Melissa); his daughter Kristina Hope (Erik); his grandchildren, Devin, Alexis, Austin and Addison; and his brother Craig Mayhew (Alan).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Babcock Funeral Home Inc. (4154 Clark Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
