Lester R. Vargo Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Lester R. Vargo of Mesopotamia, Ohio. Lester, born on September 27, 1947, passed away on October 18, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lester R. Vargo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Vargo and Ida Vargo (McGurer); and his in-laws, Menno and Jenny Schmucker. He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Schmucker-Randell); his children, Rachel Dean (Brian) of Bristolville, Stacey Sole (Tony) of Southington, OH, Tammy Pavlic (Joseph Jr.) of Kinsman, OH, Christina Walsh (Joseph) of Middlefield, OH, Gary Randell (Hollie) of Orwell, OH and Richard Randell (Kristen) of Sun City, AZ; and his brother Dennis Vargo (Sue) of Middlefield. He is also survived by many cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mesopotamia Town Hall (8686 State Rte 534, Mesopotamia, OH 44439).
