He is survived by: his sons, Charles, Jr. (Susan), Paul David Palmer and James Nathan Palmer (Amy); his grandchildren, Charles Palmer, III, Thomas Palmer of New York City, Sarah Palmer Strasser (Wesley) of Greenville, SC, Matthew Palmer (Kelsey) of Chicago, Frances Palmer of San Diego, Samuel Palmer and Zoe Palmer of Philadelphia; his great grandchild Robin Noel Palmer; his siblings, Patricia Schimmel of Pittsburgh and George Palmer of Florida; Charlie and Sarah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
