He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Gary F. Windell; his wife Debbie G. Windell (Young); and his sister Elizabeth McLendon. He is survived by: his mother Linda Windell (Smoot); his sons, Jameson Windell (Sydney) and Jonathan Windell (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Charlee, Rory, Otis, Lanie, Lucy, Lennon, Lyla and Zachary Windell (Aleshia); his siblings, Katrina Miller (Mick), Amanda Haake (Joseph), Susannah Briscoe (Bill), Samantha Creveling (Jeremy) and Michael Windell (Angel); his siblings-in-law, Diane DiTommaso (Robert) and Don McLendon; and his pet Ruby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He has chosen to provide the gift of life through organ donation.
