He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitman (Lucas); his daughters, Marcia Mitman, Diane Schwarzman (Ed Reed) and Samantha Palmer (Stephen); his grandchildren, Leah Lauver Brewster, Alyssa Lauver (Alexis De), Andrew Palmer (Heather) of Georgetown, KY and Nicholas Palmer of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Landon Lauver, Georgia Brewster, Brantley Brewster, Penelope Palmer, Robert Palmer of Georgetown, KY, Jaxson Simpson of Las Vegas, NV and Charlee Palmer of Chicago, IL; his sister-in-law Ann Harris (Lucas); his nephews, Brett Harris and Thaddeus Mitman of Ricardo, TX; and his close friend Katie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Hope Church (6 S 3rd St, Miamisburg, OH 45342). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Military Honors Veterans Memorial Park (426 E Central Ave, Miamisburg, OH 45342).
