With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sophie Baker of Miamisburg, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sophie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sophie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Muncy and Loshia Muncy; her husband Earl Baker Sr.; her stepfather Elson Young; and her son Jimmy Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Baker Jr., Aubrey Baker, Anthony Baker and Judy Sammons; and her sister Lorraine Young (Howard).
