He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Ellis; his daughters, Kim Miller and Tenile; his grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Zoe, Shaye Williams, Israel Pernell, Zion Davis and Ziayrah "Sissy" Davis; his great grandchild Cora Mae Williams; his brothers, Danny Ray Shumaker and Barry Shumaker; and his close friends, Linda Edwards, Angie, Chris and Ian Frost.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Pentecostal Way Church (1213 Leeson Ave, Van Wert, OH 45891). A committal service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ridge Cemetery (18294 Lincoln Hwy, Middle Point, OH 45863).
