He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Collins and Florence Collins (Snyder); his son Mark Collins; his son-in-law Dan Klausing; and his siblings, Floyd Collins, Fred Collins and Ruth Vermillion.
He is survived by: his wife Mauvette Collins (August); his children, Joy Marshall (Jeff), Cathy Donnelly (John), Scott Collins (Elaine) and Jared Collins (Mandy); his stepchildren, Kelly Klausing and Mary Wreede; and his brother Don Collins (Vivian). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
