He is survived by: his wife Irene Knauss; his children, Daryl Knauss Jr. (Gloria), Franklin Knauss (Dawn) and Mark Knauss (Sharon); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Megan, Andrew, Emily, Elizabeth, Hanna, Gabriella and Jocelyn; his great grandchildren, Colson, Ella, Ryker, Theodore and Grayson; his sibling Luluann Gildenmeister; his nephew Daniel Gildenmeister (Jane); and his friend Don.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Daryl's memory to the Bethany Lutheran Endowment Fund, honoring the faith that was so important to him.
