He is survived by: his children, Pamela Wightman (late Wayne) and John III (Kiki); his grandchildren, Michael (Kristina), Jason (Valerie Horneij), Jessica Wightman and Alexandra (Jake VanOenen); his great grandchildren, Emelia, Juliette and Joshua; his stepfather Arthur Rominske; and his wife Joan James (Smiley).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi and Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
