With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Pearl Ghinder of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, who passed away on January 26, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Randall Olson and Ruth Barthena Blything; her husband John V Ghinder of Cleveland's Little Italy; her stepfather Donald Hull; and her siblings, Floyd Olson and Nancy Sopnicar.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Skvoretz (Mark), Janice Soster, Tom Ghinder (Daralee) and Bobby Ghinder (Nick Vannello); her grandchildren, Michael Soster (Kristi Lister), Melanie Rogers (Justin), Jared Soster (Elena), TJ Ghinder, Kelsey Macke (John), Christine Ghinder, Jordan Soster and Kaitlyn Skvoretz; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Mooar Perduk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
