With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stefan Scherer of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Scherer and Elizabeth Scherer; his son Richard Scherer; his grandson Adam Scherer; and his sister Elisabeth Weiss.

He is survived by: his significant other Loretta Kiehl; and his children, Ruth Seiberling (Kurt Sr.), Rena Ondak (Jim), Raymond Scherer (Marianne), Rosemarie Stec (Jim) and Robin Kara (late Dale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
