He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Rinas and Colleen Rinas; his siblings, Thomas and Toby Rinas; and his parents-in-law, Edward and Catherine Van Belleghem.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" (Nee Van Belleghem); his children, Haley M. Checovich (James), Stacy A. Rinas (Samuel Larkin) and Megan L. Kistner (Ryan); his grandchildren, Mason, Evan, Harper Checovich, Ada Larkin, Brooklyn and Lacey Kistner; his sibling Tad Rinas (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Christina Buczynski (Ronald) and Marilyn Gunsch (Bruce).
