He was predeceased by : his wife Katharina; his brother Daniel; and also Johanna. He is survived by : his children, Hannelore and Richard Gross (Monika); his grandchildren, Karina and Peter Gross; his siblings, Anna, Johann, Emilie and Otilie; and also Regina.
He was a member of the West Side Sachsenheim, Alliance of Transylvanian Saxons, German Central Foundation, Donauschwaben's German-American Cultural Center and Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Continuum Care Hospice, 12380 Plaza Dr., Suite 102, Parma, OH 44130.
