He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan E. Burkholder and Anna Burkholder (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Ida Burkholder; and his sons, Eli Burkholder (Katie), Daniel Burkholder (Lovina), Mose Burkholder (Sarah), Marvin Burkholder (Anna Marie) and Melvin Burkholder (Erma). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
