He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Thomas; his parents, Taylor Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas; and his siblings, Jack, Ben, Wheeler Thomas and Jo Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Pauley (Taite), Danny Thomas (Leah) and Kathy Dailey (Paul); his grandchildren, Courtney Whittington (JD), Lauren Battin (Michael), Connor Thomas, Zachary Dailey, Emerson Pauley, Taylor Palmer, Tanner Palmer and Kaity Thomas; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Arya Whittington, Samantha Battin, Fynlea, Gryphon Thomas and Everly Kimes; and his sister Nancy Thomas of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Middleport Church of Christ's free monthly dinners program, continuing Dan's legacy of feeding others in both body and spirit.
