She is survived by: her husband Melvin Newman Jr.; her children, Sher'rie (Aaron Sr.) and Greg (Leeanne); her grandchildren, Mary "Mimi", Kemyah "Myah", Kelijahna "NayNay", Jeremiah, Sara, Sa'niah, Aaron Jr., Asia and Aairis; her great grandchild Ai'Land; her siblings, Veronica Chenault, Cynthia Alexander and Louis Richard Brown (Kim); her nieces, Esther Chenault and Brittney Alexander; and her close friends, Cresandia "Shawn" and Victoria "Vicki". She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
