She was predeceased by: her parents, Kern Lawson and Serena Lawson (Watson); her former husband Garry William Short; her husband Vernon Purdum; and her sisters, Lois Arkill and Louise Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Wade Short (Kay), Melissa Faith Shultz (Steve) and Temple Hope Short; her grandchildren, Kyle Short (Ashley), Nate Short (Uma), Samuel Short (Cassie), Charity Rose (Shane) and Taylor Shultz; and her great grandchildren, Romina, Kohen, Addyson, Jeptha, Isla, Thaddeus and Roman. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
