She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bertsch and Grace Bertsch (Watkins); her spouse Orven "Bowtie" Hounchell, Jr.; her children, Alma Hounchell and John P. Hounchell; and her grandson Charles Rose.

She is survived by: her children, Ricky Hounchell (Rita), Maxaline Murphy (Danny) and Ann Bingle (Bruce). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
