She was predeceased by: her parents, James Watkins and Myrtle Watkins (Gibson); her husband Orville "Les" Smith; and her sons, James, Darrell Fender and Thomas Stokley.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Barnette (Lynne) and Lillian Arisah; her granddaughter Jennifer Smith (James); her great grandchildren, Vencen, Jonathan, Justin Smith and Jamie Smith; her great great grandchild Delilah Ray; and her sister Betty Compton. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
