She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmer Benson and Mildred Theresa Benson (Bader); her husband John Edward McGee, Jr.; her grandson Holden Blumhagen; and her brothers, Charlie and Jim Benson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia McGee, Lisa Hill (Bob) and Julie Barber (Tom); her grandchildren, Ryan Gaker, Adam Leighton (Kanako), Sarah Purcell (Tyler), Mike Barber, Brad Barber (Chelsea) and James "Ed" Hill; her daughter Nina Rose Allen; and her sister-in-law Alice Benson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
