He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boone Blackburn and Zonie Hyden (Bryant); his wife Lorna Blackburn; his siblings, Edna Chrisman, Kay Chrisman and Roger Blackburn; and his pet Theo.

He is survived by: his daughters, Naomi Rowe (Daniel) and Sarah Blackburn (Kevin Salyer); his granddaughter Olivia Rowe; and his siblings, Betty Estes (Greg), Naomi Blackburn and Larry Blackburn. He is also survived by numerous family members, friends, and cherished neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Paramore Funeral Home (6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown, OH 45005). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
