He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin A. Kercsmar and Eileen Kercsmar (Dillon); and his sister Barbara Stahley (Kercsmar). He is survived by: his wife Sheelagh Burke; his children, Elizabeth DiLoreto (Bryan) of NorthBend, WA, Barbara O'Donovan (Dennis) of Dublin, OH, Erin Cunningham (Richard) of Fort Wayne, IN, Michael Kercsmar (Melanie) of Galena, OH and Joseph Kercsmar (Sarah) of Georgetown, KY; his grandchildren, Dillon O'Donovan, Matthew, Daniel DiLoreto, Cheyenne Cunningham, Macie, Megan Kercsmar, Zane and Kiersten Kercsmar; his brother-in-law Robert Stahley; his nephew Steve Stahley; and his niece Sara Owens (Stahley).
