He was predeceased by: his parents, Reedis Harrison Rocky McCoy and JoAnn Kidwell McCoy; the mother of his children Amy Cassidy; and his siblings, Mark Randall McCoy and Sheila Joanne McCoy Knox.
He is survived by: his sons, William David McCoy and Christopher McCoy; his grandson Anthony Wayne Powers; and his siblings, Collette McCoy Childress, Tonia McCoy, Reedis Rocky McCoy and Thomas Jefferson McCoy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
