He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Aldridge and Joel Aldridge of Middletown; and his brothers, Perry Aldridge and Rolando Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Susan Aldridge; his son Derrick Jr.; his grandchildren, Darrana, Derrane and Derrius Aldridge of Hamilton; his siblings, Joel Aldridge of Middletown, Mona Williams (Nathaniel) of Middletown and Piepper Hill of Middletown; his aunts, Rose Thompson and Peggy Scott (James); and his uncle John "Butch" Wright (Patricia). He is also survived by nephews, nieces and great nephews, great nieces and cousins and many friends that were like his brothers and sisters.
