He is survived by: his children, Timmy (Denise), Greg (Kim), Terry Green (Jennifer), Amy Moore and Beth Brandabur; his grandchildren, Richie, Ryan, Cameron, Patrick, Michael, Rebecca, Danielle, Jesse, Holly, Rachel and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Lexy, Cayden, Ryleigh, Addie, Cyra, Cain, Zoie, Harleigh, Payton, Jesus, Javier, Paisley, Bennett and Haley; and his sister Linda Vandyne Wright.

“So sorry finding out today that Don Passed away in Dec.. None of the Men from Elect Const knew he had passed.I use to stopped in once a month to see him after having breakfast with Elect Const then Covid 19 shut down visits. I have made a post on Facebook Armco/AK Steel Face Book page so all retired and active employees will know about Dons going home,”

“Donald Vandyne Jr. and I joined the USMC on Feb 3, 1957. I knew Don from being in Middletown High School at the same time, but didn't become good friends until we went into the USMC. We attended electronics training at NATTC Memphis and then on to El Toro MCAS. We helped each other at times along the way. I would have liked to have had another conversation with him. Rest in peace good friend. We send you thoughts of peace and courage.”
