He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Gay and Grace Gay (Burns); and his siblings, Myrtle Jo Gabbard, Ella Thompson, Homer Gay, Orville Gay and Kenneth Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Gay (Hicks); his children, Pam Gay, Michael Gay (Cherie) and Mona Bryant (Kent); his grandchildren, Shannon Archer (Andy), Sara Watson (Aaron), Brandon Gay (Laura), Katie Rose-Borcherding (Justin) and Jackie Rose (Shea); his great grandchildren, Barrett Gay, Addi Gay, Colton Earl Gay, Easton Gay, Paisley Watson and Isla Watson; and his sister Lana Leedy (Archie). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
