She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sullivan and Kathryn Sullivan (Coyle Fielding); her husband Donald "Donnie" Murphy; and her siblings, John Sullivan, Janice Eaton, Terry Sullivan, Mary Hald and Billy Fielding.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah "Debbie" Murphy, Donald "Bootie" Murphy (Janet), Love Douglas (Daniel) and Jamie Murphy (Phillip Harrison); her grandchildren, Mecca Sadler (John), Myra Mardis, Louisa Murphy (Sanjib) and Emily Humphrey (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Ciera, William, Henry, Alivia, Benjamin, Patrick, Dylan and Hudson; and her sisters, Phoebe Pearce, Molly Craycraft (Henry), Dorothy Poplin and Donna Franssen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Ellen's memory to Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.
