He was predeceased by: his parents, Verona Lawson (Back) and Jesse D. Lawson; his son Michael Lawson; and his siblings, Ivan, Delmond Lawson, Kathleen Jones, Berniece Stacy and Virgie Price.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Y. Lawson (Irvine); his children, Larry Lawson, Karen Lawson (Michael) and Greg Lawson (Linda); his grandchildren, Amber LeConte (Jason), Christopher, Adam (Ellie), Jordan John (Jennie) and Jeffery Lawson; and his brother Owen Lawson. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
