It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary E. Townsend (Middletown, Ohio), who passed away on November 7, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary E. Townsend to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Townsend and Winfred Townsend; his brother George Townsend; his mother-in-law Alma R. Hamacher; and his aunt Beulah Hipsher.

He is survived by: his wife Cheri R. Townsend; his brother Larry W. Townsend; his sister-in-law Carol Rose (Roger); his friends, Ben Crout, Sheri Crout, George Crout and Teresa Crout; and his sisters, Roy Johnson, Lena Wagoner, Buddy Leonard and Luther Leonard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Diabetes and Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
