He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Meeks and Edna L. Meeks (Barot); his daughter Theresa Bryant; and his siblings, William, Dale Meeks and Imogene Mercer.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Patricia Meeks and Myrna Meeks; and his grandson Dalton Colwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
