She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert L. Barnhart, and Christine A. Barnhart, Sr. (Litsokas); her husband Orville L. Griffin, Sr.; her son Orville L. Griffin, Jr.; her brothers, Robert L. Barnhart, Jr. and Edward H. Barnhart; and her stepfather James Sexton.

She is survived by : her daughters, Alycen Deardorf and Christina Stang; her brother William A. Barnhart; and her stepmother Betty Barnhart. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
