She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglass Ransom and Gladys Ransom (Puckett); and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Ransom, Douglass "Dougie" Ransom and Linda Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Renae Fox (Tim), David Wells (Paula) and Leann Gilbert (Jamie); her sister Robyn Xenias; and her grandchildren, Jessica Marchant (Arrine), Josh Wells (Taylor), Marissa Gilbert, Dylan Wells and Caleb Fox (Sydney). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

“Gloria and her family were good friends to us when we moved to Germantown in 1979 and we didn’t know anyone. Our kids played and basically grew up together. Our son Josh and David “Bub” were pretty much inseparable! Though we had lost touch it saddens me to hear she’s passed. Our condolences to the whole family for the loss of a mother and matriarch. Ann and Jack Bergman”
