He was predeceased by: his parents, David Phillip and Jane Emerson Popplewell (Chipman); and his brothers-in-law, Dale Lundstrom and Glenn Moore. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Swigert Popplewell; his son Bryan Popplewell; his siblings, Gary Popplewell and Ruth Lundstrom (Popplewell); and his sisters-in-law, Wanda L. Moore and Theresa Popplewell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
