She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Johnson and Irene Johnson (Stacy); her daughter Christina Carol Johnson; and her siblings, David Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, Beverly Taylor and Carol Ann Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Sams; her children, Michele Stoy-Dixon (Craig), Angela Sams, Penny Propps (Scott) and Kevin Sams (Cindy); her grandchildren, Billy Stoy, Taric Patrick, Brittian Sauer, Sydney Sams, Elijah Sams, Mike Propps, Brittany Price (Brett), Kahrynn Grewe, Aubrii Shae Johnson, Charlee Propps, Kabrea Jones and Kayla Grewe; her great grandchildren, Wynona, Rayne, Corey, Isaiah, Kyrea, Kyren and Ja'Khari; her brother Michael Johnson (Debi); and her brother-in-law Keith Salmon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.
