She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Mildred Enith O'Neill (Baker); and her siblings, Carla O'Neill, John O'Neill Jr. and Prudie O'Neill.

She is survived by: her daughter Nikki Mason; her grandchildren, Preston Buchanan and Gracie Morris; her sisters, Linda O'Neill and Andi Morris (Seth); her nieces and nephews, Anna O'Neill, Abby Cain, Ashley Estes, John O'Neill III and Austin Cain (Brooke); and her great-nephew Tony Patrick.

Janis loved helping people any way she could through donations to many different charities.
