She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Charles and Garnet Hill (Molter); her former husband Frankie L. Ballard; and her husband William O. May. She is survived by: her sons, Frankie Ballard (Shelley), Timothy Ballard and Danny Ballard (Sherry); her stepchildren, Billy May and Marcy Volumer (Gary); and her siblings, David Hill (Tammy) and Ruby Sturwold. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 218 Ladies Auxiliary.
