He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelene Butler and Ralph Butler; his brother-in-law Don Begley; and his wife Margaret Butler. He is survived by: his children, Karen Durham (Rick), Kelly Gray, Dave Butler (Emily) and Jody Stopher (John); his grandchildren, Christopher Durham (Mary), Anton Durham, Elizabeth Despain (Sean), Anthony Despain (Alexis), Gwendolyn, Claire and Sophia Butler; his great grandchildren, Gregory, Clement, Lucia and Irene Durham; and his siblings, Harley Butler (Joan), Ramon Butler (Paula) and Mary Begley.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Spaulding Funeral Home & Crematory (3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woodside Mausoleum.
