She was predeceased by: her sister Mary Mertz; and her parents, Garrett Russ (Dorothy) and Selia Russ. She is survived by: her husband Benny Day; her son Michael Mullins (Tonya); her grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Madison and Max Mullins; and her siblings, Lou Dinkel, Trudy Schierloh, Shirley Russ, Anna Marie Hadler, Christine Lawson, Paul Russ, Jimmy Russ and Hobert Russ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Awana Children's Program at Berean Baptist Church.
