He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leroy, Ruth Revere, Arthur, Mattie Garrett and James Carter; his sister Lavette Williams Lunsford; and his uncle Lloyd Carter.
He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Carter and Pamela Carter; his sister Catina Carter (Erik Jarmon); his nephews, Ryan and Myron Williams; and his aunts and uncles, Rhonda Revere, Janice Sweatt, Phyllis Lewis, Kathy Garrett, Anthony Carter and Arthu Garrett, Jr. (Debbie). He is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends.
