With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Coburn of Middletown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lawrence farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lawrence is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Coburn and Ruby Coburn (Johnson); and his brother David Lee Coburn. He is survived by: his wife Nita L. Coburn (Schouse); his daughters, Tracy Blue and Angela Coburn-Brickner; his brother Vernon Darrell Coburn; and his grandchildren, Robert Blue III (Kristin), Angelica Blue, Logan Hammock (Bryan) and Taylor Brickner. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and many other loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home (3805 Roosevelt Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
