She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Herman and Mathilda Anna Mae Littlejohn (Stapleton); her husband James Counts, Sr.; and her children, Roger Counts, Phillip Counts, Ronald Counts and Elizabeth Ann Counts.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Counts (Sharon) of Culloden, WV, James Counts, II (Jenny) of Carrollton, VA, Alva Counts (Diana) of Franklin, OH, Kathy Meade (Ron) of Greensboro, NC and Amanda Lawson (Kelly) of Middletown, OH. She is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Lucy and James were musicians/professional singers, they sung on WIRO and did many charity benefits.
