She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Johnston and Freda Johnston (Gray); her son Todd Prater; and her siblings, JoAnn Campbell, Karl Johnston, Bill Johnston, George Johnston, Paul Johnston and Glenn Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Prater; her children, Tab Prater and Tawnya Bonnell (Jeff); her grandchildren, Erica Kain (Greg), Ashley Prater, Katie Hodge (Ethan) and Kyle Bonnell; her great grandchildren, Emma Bonnell, Will Taylor, Sierra Worthington, Abbie Hodge and Samuel Hodge; her brother Doug Johnston (Vicky); and her niece Pam Palumbo (Joe).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home (517 S Sutphin St, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
