Mary V. Habig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary V. Habig of Middletown, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Varon and Kalliope Varon (Papadopoulos); her former husband James Charles Jonson; her husband David N. Habig; her sister-in-law Stacy Varon; and her son-in-law Joshua Grigsby.
She is survived by: her children, Soterios Jonson (Gina), George J. Jonson and Janel Jonson; her brothers, Michael Varon, Gus Varon (Sherry) and Dan Varon (Kim Lynch); her sister-in-law Elaine Varon; her grandchildren, Alexia Smallwood (Cody) and Dominic Jonson; and her great grandchildren, Xander and Zion Smallwood. She is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (2500 Grand Ave, Middletown, OH 45044). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45044.
