He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasilios K. Apostolopoulos and Ioanna Apostolopoulos (Liarou); and his siblings, Rev. Constantine Mathews and Voula Tangalos. He is survived by: his wife Diana Sue Mathews (Henson); his daughter Joanna Mathews; his godchildren, Nick Svingos (Mary Beth) and Eleni Glarum (Peter); and his sister Nitsa Tsitouraus of Greece.
