She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Earl Sherman Sr. and Thelma L. Sherman (Keuthan); her husband Robert "Buck" H. Buchanan; and her brother Raymond Earl Sherman. She is survived by: her pets, Beau and Major Mynah; her sister-in-law Dorothy Jean Sherman; and her nephew Ronald Dale Sherman (Ildiko).
