She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. L. Bruce Barnes; her parents, Eleanor Stratman Mueller and Dr. Charles M. Mueller; her siblings, Charles "Chuck" and Jane Van Schoik; and her daughter-in-law Cecilia Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Barnes, Bob Barnes (Karen) and Lynnette Hinch (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jennifer Barnes, Kristin Barnes, Andrea Carrier (Jason), Tyler Barnes (Colleen), Blake Hinch and Tucker Hinch; and her great grandchildren, Ella and Owen Carrier.
