She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jerry Pickett; her mother Clemma Epperson; her son Jerry Pickett II; her grandchildren, Audrey Pickett, Max Pickett (Mackenzie) and Alex Pickett; and her siblings, Madonna Mundell (Jerry), Rita Mays (Bobby), Larry Epperson (Kay), Kendall Epperson (Janice) and Gloria Bruce Carpenter (Keith). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

PICKETT, Opal Faye, 85, was welcomed into Heaven on July 22nd, 2023, at Spring Hills in Middletown Ohio, where she was cared for and loved as she battled Parkinson's Disease.
